The combination of resin, beeswax, pigment, and fire draws art lovers and artists to her studio, to admire and to learn this fascinating technique.
An exec for a greeting card company in a former life, Constance now channels her creative and professional energy into encaustic painting and running Constance Williams Fine Art (moving early 2013 to The Wedge) . When she's not wielding a blowtorch and coaxing vibrantly-hued wax into abstract paintings, she represents a number of talented artists in her studio/gallery and is the acting president of the River Arts District Association - which sponsors the twice-yearly Studio Strolls (in June and November).
